A historical Piedmontese variety found in Roagna's estate-owned vineyards, some dating back to 1930. Terroir driven, characterful wine. Think ripe red cherry, wild berries and plum, intertwined with notes of violet, sweet spice and earthy minerality. Lively acid and fine tannins, supported by a firm yet elegant structure give way to hints of balsamic, cedar and crushed herbs on the finish.
