A delightful bottle of Jura's ubiquitous Vin Jaune, comprised purely of Savagnin that is raised in barrel under a veil of yeast for a minimum 6 years and 3 months before being transferred into a distinctive 62 centilitre bottle known as a 'Clavelin', so named to account for the "angel's share" of the wine that is lost in the oxidation process. The finished wine has a powerful, yeasty, dry and persistent palate with complex characteristics of nuts and minerals.
