This Grand Cru offering from husband and wife team Natalie and Gilles bursts from the glass with scents of orange oil, warm bread, crisp stone fruits and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied and elegantly textural, this wine has a beautiful opulence which would only develop further with subsequent aging. Grown in a sunny south-west facing vineyard in marl and limestone soil rich with Kimmeridgien deposits. This bed allows the vine's root-system to furrow deep into the ground for maximum expression of their terroir. Natalie and Gilles are both committed to protecting traditional Burgundian wine-making methods whilst holding environmentally conscious philosophy of viticulture and have adopted a sustainable production approach to limit intervention in the vineyard.
