Mercurey is the flagship appellation for the Côte Chalonnaise. The vineyards, extending over almost 650 hectares, are geographically aligned with the Côte de Beaune making the terroir similar to prestigious appellations such as the Côte d'Or. This wine aged for 12 months in barrel and displays lovely buttery notes cut through with complex citrus with a lingering finish.
