Dominio del Aguila Picaro del Aguila Clarete

A rare, old-style Ribera del Duero rosé made from foot-crushed Albillo, Grey Tempranillo and Bruñal from 80-year-old vines, fermented with local yeasts and aged 16–20 months in used oak, then bottled unfiltered. Orange-pink in colour, it smells more like a white wine with notes of white flowers and mediterranean herbs, while the palate is surprisingly red-wine-like: juicy, structured and fresh, with red fruit, orange and peach notes, light toasty oak, and a long, saline finish.
