Gigondas owes a lot to the Meffre family, namely the success of the appellation, as they played a major role in winning the regions  Appellation Contrôllée status in the early 1970's. These guys have been making wine since the 17th century and from that moment on have been striving to make wine that they like to drink themselves. This ideal comes across in heaps with this profoundly drinkable rose. Salmon Tourmaline in colour, this attractive wine has heaps of strawberry and raspberry notes and a wonderfully creamy finish. Think strawberry sundae in the park and you'll get the idea.
