    A red from Palette, a tiny Provence appellation near Aix, where Château Simone is the reference estate. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cinsault grow on north-facing limestone slopes and the wine is aged in old casks. It is savoury and fragrant, with red fruit, garrigue herbs and fine tannins.
