    A Barolo from the Benevelli family, grown in Le Coste di Monforte, one of the commune's most powerful crus. Nebbiolo from these steep, south-facing slopes gives a pale garnet colour and scents of rose, tar and sour cherry. The palate is firm and structured, with a long, savoury finish.
